Pre-Kindergarten (4 Years – 5 Years) 1:10 ratio
Teachers in our pre-kindergarten classroom prepare daily lessons with Kindergarten readiness in mind. Children will function as individuals, in a small group, and in a large group throughout the day. As in our preschool classrooms, children will have access to computers and technology in the classroom and in the computer lab, enhancing their learning experience. Our Pre-kindergarten class will review and build on the skills learned in preschool, such as letter and number recognition, counting, sorting, matching, sequencing, and self-expression. Children will have daily activities to reinforce reading and writing skills, such as journaling and story telling. Children will develop their oral language, phonological awareness, and knowledge of letters and print. Our Pre-kindergarten children will enter Kindergarten eager and ready to learn.
